I suppose everyone has a list of people that they regard as heroes. I was asked the other day if I had any, and that set me to thinking .... so herewith is a list of people that I admire and regard as genuine heroes.
Your milage may vary, and for some of them, my reasons for considering them as heroes may surprise you. I just offer this list as those that -I- admire, for a number of reasons.
